Privacy Policy

Yemvario is a set of static pages and one PDF sold by email. There is no login, no form, no comment section and no analytics, which means the honest version of this policy is short and the long version is mostly explanation of why it is short.
Section 1 — The individual accountable
Matthew Campbell, at 308 4 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 0H7, Canada, reachable at [email protected]. He is an individual rather than a company: he wrote the pages, he holds the hosting account and he answers the mail. Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act requires an organisation to designate someone accountable, and here that designation and the whole organisation are the same person.
The federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act applies alongside Alberta PIPA, together with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.
Section 2 — What the server writes down
Each request produces a log line at the hosting layer: the IP address it came from, the browser’s user-agent string, the file requested, a timestamp and the response code. Web servers cannot work without producing these, so their existence is a property of the technology rather than a choice.
They are consulted when a page breaks or when a burst of automated traffic needs identifying, they are never combined with anything else, and the host rotates them out within a few weeks.
Section 3 — What you might send
An email contains whatever the sender put in it, and nothing on this site asks for any of it. There is no form on this domain: no contact field, no sign-up, no comment box, no upload, no survey. Information arrives because you decided to write.
Where the message is an order for the Goal Counter Workbook, the correspondence later gains the reference your bank attaches to an Interac e-Transfer, which is how a payment is matched to an order. No card number, expiry date or security code is ever seen by this site or by Matthew Campbell: an e-Transfer runs between your bank and his, and no payment page exists here for one to be typed into.
Section 4 — The uses, and only these
Keeping the site available and secure. Reading and answering email. Performing an order — transfer details out, confirmation in, file delivered. Complying with a lawful demand from a Canadian authority, if one is ever made. Nothing is used for any purpose outside that list, and nothing is sold, rented, traded or disclosed to advertisers or data brokers.
Under CASL, no commercial electronic message leaves this address. There is no mailing list, no newsletter and no automated follow-up, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from. A reply to your own email is not a marketing message.
Section 5 — Storage, and where it physically sits
Pages are served over HTTPS. Access to the hosting account belongs to one person and is protected by a unique credential. The hosting and email providers are the only third parties involved, and both may operate infrastructure outside Alberta and outside Canada; where they do, they are contractually bound to protections comparable to those required here, and what is involved is log lines and correspondence.
Correspondence is kept for up to twenty-four months so that a returning question has context, then deleted. Order threads are held a little more deliberately, so a buyer who loses the file next year can ask again and be recognised. Earlier deletion is available on request and is carried out.
Section 6 — Your rights, itemised
Write to [email protected] and say which. A first reply usually comes within a couple of business days and the request is completed inside thirty days. If the outcome does not satisfy you, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta accepts complaints, as does the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and neither asks whether you raised it here first.
Section 7 — Cookies, links and changes
One first-party cookie, ym_cookie_consent, stores your answer to the banner for six months. There is no analytics package, no tag manager, no advertising or remarketing tag and no third-party script anywhere on the domain; the Cookie Policy sets it out in full.
Pages here link to store listings for the applications they discuss. Those platforms are operated by other organisations under their own privacy policies, which this document has no power to alter or extend, and it stops applying the moment you follow a link away.
If the site changes in a way that affects any of the above, this page is rewritten and the date at the top moves with it.
